We have been working closely with three groups of 25 women in Homa Bay, providing them with essential knowledge on entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing strategies. These women are being equipped with practical skills to start and sustain their businesses, fostering economic independence and stability for their families. The impact of this program is already evident in the transformation of participants.
One inspiring story is that of Mary, a young mother who struggled to provide for her children. After completing the training, she launched a small tailoring business, which has since grown into a sustainable venture. With increased income, Mary can now support her children’s education and daily needs, showcasing the tangible benefits of our initiative.
Despite these successes, challenges remain, including access to capital and market linkages. We are actively seeking partnerships to provide microloans and networking opportunities that will help these women expand their businesses. With continued support, we aim to reach our goal of equipping 200 young mothers with the skills they need to build thriving enterprises and create lasting change in their communities.
