"Being a young mother is tough, especially when you don’t have the resources to provide for your child. I always wanted to do something to change my situation, but I didn’t know how. Joining this program was a game changer. The training taught me everything I needed to know about running a business—from budgeting to understanding the market. I used the seed funding to start a small food vending business, selling fresh juices and snacks in my neighborhood. In just a few months, I’ve built a steady customer base, and I’m now able to support my family. I also provide snacks for local events, which has expanded my reach. The best part? I now have plans to expand and hire another young mother to work with me. I never imagined that my business would grow this fast, and I owe it all to the program and the kind donors." Faith

While we have seen impressive progress, the young mothers in our program still face challenges, including limited access to capital for scaling their businesses and the impact of unstable infrastructure, such as unreliable electricity or internet. To address these challenges, we are exploring the establishment of a revolving microfinance fund to provide low-interest loans for business expansion. Additionally, we will continue strengthening partnerships with local organizations to provide technical support in areas like digital literacy and business compliance.
