Dear Donors,
Krish (name changed) is a dull boy. He will be two years old by this April but he could not speak. His motor skills are not age-appropriate. He is not trained in toilet habits. He was admitted to our early learning centre as his mother strongly trusts us. Her first daughter studied in our centre and is now admitted to the school.
Krish’s father is a painter and earns $90 per month and the income is also not stable. He spends a major chunk of his income on alcohol. His mother is sick and could not go to work. With the least income earned by his father, they have to feed 5 mouths in the house. When his father could not find work, it becomes much difficult for the family to maintain their monthly expenses especially the food expenses.
His mother says, "Krish is slowly learning the toilet habits after coming to the centre. Before joining the learning centre, he was very dull. With the little income my husband earns and with his drinking habit, it is very difficult for me to feed the children. Now I am relieved that Krish gets her meal regularly. His health has improved. I thank the donors for helping my child."
The Republic Day of India on the 26th of January was celebrated in Kajapet. It was overwhelming to see our cute children dressed up as great Indian leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Subash Chandra Bose, Ambedkar, Bharatha Matha, police officers, teachers, etc. Cultural events and speeches were given by the children from coaching class and the special school for child labourers. The national flag was hoisted and sweets distributed to all.
We appeal to you dear donors to continue supporting our cute children, help them grow physically and learn qualitatively. Kindly support us by spreading words about this project to your friends and relatives. Your words carry weight.
Thanking you.
With regards
