This year, the organization has set a resolution to bring smiles to faces during times of hardship, with small acts of kindness making a significant impact. This week, history was made as 50 children and families in the Ojoo area of Ibadan in Oyo state Nigeria, received food packages, a timely relief as food prices continue to rise amid escalating inflation. Children, 5 years and below particularly vulnerable at this critical stage of brain development, are most affected by the challenges of securing nourishing food. Proper nutrition is essential for their growth, development, and cognitive function.
The families who benefited from this initiative expressed deep gratitude, with one parent sharing how their family had run out of food. The delivery of rice and beans was truly a "stitch in time" for them.
We are inspired to do more when we see the direct impact of our efforts on those who need us most. While we wish we could extend our reach further, we are constrained by resources. We deeply appreciate your support—your contributions are making a real difference, and we are proud to have you alongside us on this journey.
