Purpose:
The Kakuma Digital Jobs Hub was created to address extreme unemployment and economic dependency among refugees in Kakuma camp. The initiative provides refugees with access to digital skills, modern tools, and a solar-powered workspace so they can work online for global clients.
What We Offer:
A fully solar-powered digital co-working space
Laptops and high-speed internet (via Starlink)
Training in digital and freelance skills
Direct connection to real online job opportunities
Impact Made:
Help refugees earn a sustainable income from within the camp
Reduce reliance on humanitarian aid
Promote clean energy and stable power usage through solar infrastructure
Build digital confidence and strong community collaboration among participants
