Girls’ Power Initiative (GPI) Calabar commemorated International Women’s Day 2026 with an interactive open session for its center girls. The event, themed “Give to Gain” provided a platform for learning, reflection, and inspiration, encouraging the girls to recognize the value of contributing positively to society while pursuing their personal goals. The session began with a welcome address by the GPI Calabar Center Coordinator, Comfort Ikpeme, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of International Women’s Day as a moment to celebrate the achievements of women and inspire young girls to aspire for excellence in all areas of life.
