Today, the Empowering Girls with Sewing Machines project continues to make progress as the girls remain committed to learning sewing and tailoring skills. The training sessions are giving them an opportunity to develop practical skills that can help them become self-reliant in the future.
The girls are showing interest and enthusiasm during the training. They are learning how to handle the sewing machines, practice different stitches, and gradually improve their confidence and ability to make simple items.
However, the number of available sewing machines is still not enough for all the girls to practice at the same time. Some girls have to share the available machines, which limits their practice time. We therefore continue to appeal to our friends and well-wishers to help us obtain additional sewing machines and materials.
Our hope is that every girl will have enough opportunity to practice and eventually use these skills to earn an income, support her family, and create a more secure future.
We are grateful to everyone who continues to support this project. We kindly ask our donors and friends to continue sharing the project and helping us reach more supporters through GlobalGiving. Every contribution, whether small or large, brings us closer to empowering these girls.
Today, our message remains simple: give a girl a skill, and you give her an opportunity to build her future.
