Empowering Women Through Access to Capital
Access to capital is a critical factor in economic empowerment. Development Alert’s interest-free microloan program is bridging this gap for rural women in Uganda.
With 100 beneficiaries, the program has enabled women to start and expand businesses that generate income and improve livelihoods. The absence of interest ensures that more earnings remain within households.
Mentorship and group support are key components of the initiative, helping women build skills and confidence.
The results are clear: increased household incomes, improved savings, and greater financial independence. Women are not only supporting their families but also contributing to community growth.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters for their commitment to this cause. Together, we are unlocking the potential of rural women.
