Holy Trinity Orphanage in Vizag (India) houses 72 school age kids and urgently needs clean drinking water system, sanitizing system, and daily essentials. Ann foundation (AF) will support to create a safe and healthy learning environment for these kids along with access to progressive educational resources via technology infrastructure. AF goal is to empower these marginalized kids to create a success path for themselves despite facing challenging times.
This institution urgently needs resources, such as, clean drinking water system, sanitizing system, and daily use items like mattresses, blankets, uniforms, and other essentials. Also, basic computer skills and spoken English language proficiency are becoming necessary for most modern-day education and future employment. Unfortunately, lack of technology resources often hinders the growth potential of these disadvantaged yet motivated children in Vizag.
Through collected funds, Ann Foundation (AF) will provide required items including water purifier, sanitizing stations, surface disinfecting system, basic inverter with battery system (to deal with power outages that reduce learning time) school supplies, and daily necessities. In addition, AF will setup up a computer center at the orphanage to facilitate online learning through curriculum customized and imparted by AF volunteers. AF strives to instill a passion for learning and creativity, powerful enough to change the course of life for these children. Children trained with spoken English and computer literacy stands better chance at securing employment and pursuing higher studies.
