To ensure girls club members continue to build their capacity to lead their own development agenda, songtaba has organized experience sharing meeting for 58 girls club mentors (38 males and 20 females) to create a platform for participants to tap in to each other’s rich experience on how to manage girls at their respective communities/schools. The activity had the potential of benefiting 1225 girls from 35 clubs at both Nanumba North and south district.

Participants were later taken through strategies of sustaining girls club in schools. Strategies discussed and agreed for adaption and practice were, Scouting for potential collaborators to support girl’s club activities, Capturing club activities in school annual plan, Strengthening and building district girls club movement. The meeting made a tremendous progress of empowering girls in and out of school and improved participant’s knowledge on how to manage girls club in schools.
