In the high Andes of Peru, thousands of Quechua-speaking children grow up without access to organized sports. Sinkumunchis uses football as a bridge for inclusion, education, and hope. Your support helps us sustain our existing programs and reach the next 1,000 children and youth across new rural communities.
In the high Andes of Peru, children from Quechua-speaking communities grow up without access to organized sports or safe spaces to play. Many face social and geographic isolation, limited opportunities for teamwork, and few activities that promote well-being and confidence. For girls, these barriers are even stronger. Without inclusive spaces to learn and play, communities lose a powerful path for development and connection.
Sinkumunchis creates football schools that use sport as a tool for inclusion, confidence, and community pride. Local coaches lead structured sessions where children learn teamwork, discipline, and leadership while strengthening bonds across their villages. Through regular training and participation in local tournaments, boys and girls develop life skills that extend far beyond the field. Your support sustains current programs and helps reach new communities.
Over time, this project will create a network of rural football schools that promote equality, participation, and personal growth. Children who join Sinkumunchis gain not just athletic skills, but self-esteem, teamwork, and a stronger sense of belonging. As they grow, many become community leaders and role models, helping build more united, resilient, and hopeful Andean communities through the shared language of sport.
