*HOPE FOR KIDS*
*Keeping Our Promise: Equipping Children for School*
We made a promise: No child under our care will miss school because they lack what they need.
And we are keeping our promise - equipping children for school every term.
*How We Are Keeping Our Promise:*
*We promised uniforms - We equipped 150 children:*
Children who came in torn clothes now come in full uniform. No shame. No hiding. Ready for school.
*We promised books and pens - We equipped 150 children:*
Before, 5 children shared one book. Now 150 children have their own books and pens to write, read, and learn.
*We promised food to learn - We equipped 200+ children:*
A hungry child cannot learn. We promised daily meals, and we now provide hot porridge and food so children stay in class before and after the bell rings.
*We promised fees - We equipped 45 children:*
We promised no child would be chased home again. 45 children who were sent home now have fees paid and sit in class confidently.
*We promised dignity for girls - We equipped 180 girls:*
We promised our girls would never miss school because of periods. We now equip them with pads, underwear, and soap every term.
*We promised shelter to learn from - We equipped 12 children:*
We promised homeless children a place to sleep and do homework. 12 children now have shelter, mattress, and light to study.
*Total: 520+ children equipped for school this year because we kept our promise.*
But keeping a promise is not one day. It is every day. Every term.
Our promise next term is bigger - we want to equip ALL 520+ children with full requirements, not just 150.
- We need more uniforms
- We need more books
- We need more food
- We need more pads for girls
- We need our own classrooms
