There are many grand mothers who walk a distance of 20 kilimeters from Buyengo to JOPA Training center to come and acquire tailoring and knitting skills that will enable them to set up their own enterprise in order to support their grandchildren, when you support these grandmothers you will have redeemed the life of the many grandchildren under their care you can support them by conttributing as low as $10 toward the buying sewing machines and bikes
HIV/ AIDS spread has killed very people leaving most children as orphans and most of these orphans are under the care of their grandmother who are helpless. Therefore when you empower these grand mothers with skills and start up kits, they will be able to pass over the skill to their grand chlidren,set up their own income generating enterprise to support their families and in the end the orphan will be the major beneficiaries
The project will ensable the grand mother to acquire skills that they will pass over to ther grand children, it will enable the grand mother to set income generating enterprises which will help to improve their standard of living
the long term impact will be skills development and improvement in living standards and lives of 200 people will be improved
