This project will empower 500 vulnerable women in Narok county in kenya through a practical "learn, earn, and grow together" approach. Women will be organized into empowerment circles where they will receive entrepreneurship and financial literacy training, mentorship, savings skills, and support to establish sustainable small enterprises such as poultry farming and other locally viable businesses.
In rural Kenya, many vulnerable women wake up every day uncertain of how they will feed their families, pay school fees, or access healthcare. Many are widows, single mothers, and caregivers with the determination to succeed but without the opportunities, skills, or resources to build a sustainable income.
This project will provide entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, mentorship, and enterprise support to help women start small businesses and achieve economic independence.
The long-term impact of this initiative is to break the cycle of poverty among vulnerable rural women by creating sustainable pathways to economic independence, dignity, and resilience. Through entrepreneurship, financial literacy, mentorship, and enterprise development, women will become empowered income earners capable of supporting their families and making informed economic decisions.
