As part of our Empower 50 Widows initiative, we recently held a hands-on skills acquisition session for a group of women, focused on practical income-generating skills. The participants were trained to make three basic products: liquid soap, puff puff, and chinchin. The sessions were highly practical, allowing the women to learn, practice, and build confidence in producing each item. Beyond production, we also taught them packaging techniques to help their products look attractive and market-ready. We further introduced basic marketing strategies, helping them understand how to price, promote, and sell their products to customers. It was an empowering learning experience.
