Sustainable development begins with women who have the opportunity to succeed.
In rural Uganda, many hardworking women remain trapped in poverty because they lack access to business training, productive resources, affordable finance, and economic opportunities.
Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face even greater hardship as climate shocks and unemployment continue to threaten family livelihoods.
This initiative will provide entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, savings group participation, business coaching, and livelihood start-up resources that enable women to establish resilient businesses.
As women generate reliable incomes, families will enjoy better nutrition, improved healthcare, uninterrupted education, and stronger financial stability.
Investing in women today will strengthen local economies, reduce poverty, and create resilient communities prepared for a more prosperous tomorrow.
