By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader
Women in rural Uganda have the determination, strength, and resilience to lift their families out of poverty, yet many lack access to vocational training, financial services, productive resources, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children are especially vulnerable as climate change, poor harvests, and unemployment continue to threaten household incomes. This project will equip women with entrepreneurship training, savings groups, financial literacy, business mentorship, and livelihood start-up resources to establish successful income-generating enterprises. As women build thriving businesses, families will enjoy nutritious meals, quality healthcare, uninterrupted education, and greater financial security. Your generosity will empower women to become confident entrepreneurs, create jobs, strengthen local economies, and inspire lasting hope that transforms families and communities for generations.
