Strong communities begin with empowered women. Yet across rural Uganda, thousands of women remain trapped in poverty because they lack access to vocational training, financial services, productive resources, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face the greatest hardships as climate change, crop failures, and unemployment continue to reduce household incomes. This project will equip women with entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, savings group support, business mentorship, and livelihood start-up resources to build thriving small enterprises. As incomes increase, families will enjoy nutritious meals, improved healthcare, quality education, and greater financial stability. Your support will help women achieve economic independence, inspire confidence, strengthen local economies, and create lasting opportunities that enable families and communities to flourish for generations.
