Every hardworking woman deserves the opportunity to provide for her family with dignity. Yet many women in rural Uganda remain trapped in poverty because they lack access to business training, financial services, productive resources, and sustainable livelihoods. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face increasing hardship as climate change and unemployment continue to erode household incomes. This project will provide practical entrepreneurship training, savings group participation, financial literacy, business mentorship, and livelihood start-up resources to help women establish successful income-generating activities. Increased earnings will improve food security, healthcare, children's education, and long-term household resilience. Your generosity will unlock opportunities that enable women to build independent futures while creating stronger families and more prosperous communities.
