By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader
Thousands of women in rural Uganda are striving for a better future but remain trapped in poverty because they lack access to vocational training, financial services, productive resources, and stable livelihoods. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face even greater economic challenges as climate change and unemployment reduce household incomes. This project will equip women with practical business skills, entrepreneurship training, savings group participation, livelihood start-up support, and ongoing mentorship to establish sustainable enterprises. Reliable incomes will help families access nutritious food, healthcare, quality education, and greater financial stability. By empowering women with the resources to succeed, this initiative will create stronger families, resilient communities, vibrant local economies, and lasting hope for generations to come.
