By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader
Countless women in rural Uganda work tirelessly to support their families but remain trapped in poverty because they lack access to essential skills, finance, productive assets, and sustainable employment. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children face even greater hardship as climate-related crop failures and unemployment continue to threaten household livelihoods. This project will provide practical business training, entrepreneurship skills, savings group participation, start-up livelihood resources, and continuous mentorship to help women establish profitable income-generating activities. Increased household earnings will improve nutrition, healthcare, children's education, and family resilience. Every donation will help women build brighter futures, stimulate economic growth, reduce dependence on aid, and create stronger communities where families can thrive with dignity and hope.
