Women in rural Uganda have the talent and determination to succeed, yet poverty and limited access to skills, financial services, and productive resources continue to hold them back. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children are particularly affected by unemployment and climate-related crop failures that threaten household survival. This project will provide entrepreneurship training, business mentorship, savings group participation, and livelihood start-up resources to help women establish sustainable enterprises. With reliable incomes, families will improve nutrition, healthcare, children's education, and household resilience while reducing dependence on emergency support. Investing in women creates a powerful ripple effect that stimulates local economic growth, strengthens communities, and opens pathways to lasting prosperity for future generations.
