Women in rural areas of Uganda possess the determination to improve their families' lives, yet many remain trapped in poverty due to limited access to vocational training, financial services, productive resources, and sustainable employment. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children are especially vulnerable as climate change and unemployment continue to reduce household incomes. This project will provide practical business skills, entrepreneurship training, savings group support, start-up livelihood resources, and ongoing mentorship to help women establish thriving income-generating activities. As women increase their earnings, families will enjoy better nutrition, healthcare, education, and financial stability. Empowering women with lasting economic opportunities will reduce poverty, strengthen local economies, foster self-reliance, and create resilient communities where future generations can thrive.
