Activities Completed, Challenges Encountered, and Lessons Learned:
During the reporting period, three meetings were held with the project staff and the association's advisors on the following topics: Sharing information on the history, mission, and operations of GlobalGiving; Explanation of the various funding opportunities and preparation for GlobalGiving's Little by Little campaign; Sharing information on new strategies for receiving donations that could contribute to achieving the project's objectives. All aspects of the activities were successfully completed, and the participants' expectations were met.
Regarding the Challenges Encountered: From a financial perspective, we were unable to achieve significant progress due to a lack of available funding during the period. Meanwhile, the entire team is working on new strategies to secure funding for the project. From a communication perspective: We were unable to submit the report by the project deadline due to an unstable internet connection. We will work diligently to ensure this does not happen again.
Lessons Learned: The dynamics of the GlobalGiving team, which can work tirelessly to fulfill its mission, and GlobalGiving as a funding platform, provide powerful tools for developing communities and enhancing the organization's capabilities.
The activities during the reporting period took place during a very challenging time, from a political, economic, and social perspective. The country's ongoing crisis continues to worsen, and families in the communities face enormous hardship. Due to abuse and insecurity caused by the expansion of gang activity in all regions of the country, many families who previously lived abroad and in other cities within the country are migrating to the community, increasing the daily economic burden on families.
