Report on project activities

By Brunot Petit-Homme | Project Coordinator

Activities Completed, Challenges Encountered, and Lessons Learned:

During the reporting period for this report, three meetings were held with project staff and the association's advisors on the following topics: Sharing information on the history, mission, and operations of GlobalGiving; Explanation of the various funding opportunities and preparation for GlobalGiving's Passport to Purpose campaign; Sharing information on new strategies to receive donations from donors that can contribute to achieving the project's goal. All elements of the activity content were well executed, and participants' expectations were met.

Regarding challenges encountered: From a financial perspective, we were unable to achieve any major achievements due to resource constraints during the period. In the meantime, the entire team is working on new strategies to secure funding for this project. From a communications perspective: We were unable to submit the report by the project report deadline due to the unstable internet connection used. We will work diligently to ensure this does not happen.

Lessons Learned: The dynamics of the GlobalGiving team, which can work tirelessly to achieve its mission, and GlobalGiving as a fundraising platform also provides powerful tools for developing communities and improving the organization's skills.

The activities of the reporting period took place during a very difficult period, from a political, economic, and social perspective. The current crisis in the country continues to intensify, and families in the communities are facing enormous difficulties. Due to abuse and insecurity caused by the expansion of gang trafficking in all regions of the country, many families who lived outside the country and in other cities within the country come to migrate to the community, which increases the economic burden of families on a daily basis.
