The Sewing Centres in Gojra under SHD are running successfully for the women and young girls, who are working at the brick kilns and as domestic workers to support their parents. Some of the other unskilled and uneducated girls, who aren’t working anywhere, have also joined the center. The women seems happy and enthusiastc about the training and they hope to complete their course, raise the income for their families and plan to pay back the loan which have been taken by their families from the brick kilns and farm owners.
The teacher of the Sewing Centres are extremely punctual and committed. In both centers , the teachers have introduced new stitching ideas and modern designs so that the students should move with current trends. The previous students of the sticthing centers are earning a good profit and have been helping their family in improving their income to support . They thank SHD for all the support and help.
