For the betterment of the women and young girls who support their parents by working as domestic helpers and in brick kilns, the sewing centers in Gojra under SHD are running successfully. A few more illiterate and unskilled girls who are unemployed have also joined the centers and the numbers are increasing. The women appear satisfied with and excited about the training. They intend to successfully complete the course, earn additional income for their families, and payback the brick kiln and farm owners for the loans their families have taken out.
The sewing center teachers are incredibly dedicated and on time. To help the students stay up-to-date with the latest trends, teachers at both centers have introduced new stitching concepts and modern designs. The former students are making decent money and have been assisting their families in raising their standard of living. They appreciate all of SHD's assistance and support.
