Dear friends and supporters,
We feel honored we share our last piece of bread to save lives!
Saving even one life, there are no words to describe, the beauty, the happiness and the power you give to your life.
There are days we have no food, no supplies to give. There are days we must do "the impossible" seem normal to face the reality, or to give even hope. But we know that when you trust life you have life.
Despite the financial crisis that has crippled Greece we feel a moral responsibility to provide with food and supplies the many families that are seeking refuge from Syria and Afghanistan by the thousands. These refugee families arrive with their small kids and infants famished and exhausted looking for a safe shelter away from the horror of war.
Entire Athenian neighborhoods have been taken over by the refugees and our organization "Kid & Family" has been called to perform a double duty offering help to the refugees but also to our own citizens who have been crippled by the crisis. Your solidarity gives us the power to go on.
Urgent help is needed:
1. For Our islands where thousands are arriving weekly
2. For our capital city of Athens where the refugees come to obtain legal papers for passage to Northern Europe
3. For maintaining peace and order between the different people that are arriving from Syria, Senegal, Somalia etc
With your generous support we were able to provide some comfort to many in need on New Year's Day. In the freezing temperatures of this New Year we were exalted that we could provide to some warm food, warm clothing and blankets, medicine and some toys for the children.
In addition “Kid & Family” found some Greek families that hosted refugees with their infants and elderly relatives. This winter of 2016 is predicted to be cold and harsh and we need support in order to obtain and organize a hostel where we can provide them with better services.
Please spread the word of this desperate situation to all your friends and neighbors. Our volunteers and supporters are doing everything in their power to help but so much more is needed. Find it in your hearts to donate money, personal time and any aid that can soften the tragic conditions of the refugees in Greece.

Personally i feel you as a family. Only a family has no limit for love and compassion. That is the message "Kid & Family" gives with you to all people. To all nations. To every corner of our earth.
But mostly we thank you because we know that for some of you it was difficult to help us at this moment of your life, but you did it!
