In May 2025, Generation Aid conducted a successful food distribution in Kakuma Refugee Camp, reaching 120 individuals. Each family received 10 kg of maize flour, 5 kg of beans, 1 liter of cooking oil, 500 grams of salt, and 250 ml of chlorine for water purification. Priority was given to single mothers, families with children with disabilities, and elderly individuals. The distribution took place over six days at our community center and mobile sites, supported by 15 community volunteers. Despite delays caused by heavy rain and high demand, the process was well-coordinated and safely executed. The impact was immediate, providing much-needed relief, restoring hope, and improving food security and hygiene. Generation Aid thanks all partners and donors whose generosity made this vital effort possible.
