El Nino & Climate Change Effects with water shortage observed in Pakistan

Dear Supporters and Donors this project we are sharing the update from field that the huge WATER SHIRTAGE from lower Sindh Pakistan and rice planting is only possible on 5% agricultural lands till a date, while the time is running out very fast, we expecting heavy rain spells in June and July that irrigation water can be abundant, otherwise this will be disaster and drought in whole Lower Sindh Pakistan

 We helping some 500 farmers for model farming and reports that they do not sown seeds of rice till a date, while the seed lings seeding usually completes in the month of June every year.

We hope you all will be support this cause to help our farmers to grow trees and meet the crises of water shortage via tree plantation.

Farmers happy to harvest wheat and vegetables for their food security

As per past years of 2020-2021 the COVID-19 hit Pakistan as well as whole world and the poors become most poor on this World, AHD did its part to help these poor communities with solutions and now we are happy to share that small farmers happy and now doing the cropping of wheat and vegetable on their agricultural lands.

We at AHD hope that now people happy and small farmers doing their part to cultivate and harvest wheat crop and vegetables at their small land holdings.

We hope in coming season we can reach more communities with your all support

Climate Change & El Nino making adverse effects in coastal areas

AHD helping rural poor communities and during helping poor people AHD program staff saw the poor and adverse situation of rural villagers communities, AHD now helping poor village communities to install drinking water solutions, small hand pumps and large hand pumps and well and water reservoirs purpose is to save the water for drinking purposes as Climate Change and seasonal changes makes difficult to continue water for irrigation or crops or drinking water, during scarcity period villagers now facing difficult situation and AHD helping them with 12 hand pumps and 2 wells.

Let us join hands to help this projects with some 18,000 US $ to reach 30 new villages with hand pumps and wells

Effects of El Niño and Climate Change now hitting near Coastal Pakistan

AHD working in coastal area of Pakistan and helping poor and rural communities as the impact of El-Nino and climate change is very hard as Water shortage, change in pattern of rain and sowing season and change in environment  impact poor rain to water and crops production, now needs urgent attention to reach and help these poor communities to come up with solution and have sources to keep maintain their crops and food security and health, AHD want to support another 500 farmers in 2022 and help them to be strong and can survive in coming days.

COVID-19 also one of aspect which decreases in jobs and socio economic opportunities, this project needs will help farmers to become strong and have local based solutions

Dear Donors, this is urgent request for 2022 support this project one farmers village development plan needs some 230 US $ as much as support comes we will reach more families …the idea if 500 farmers let us all hope for the best

Effects of El Nino and Climate Change now hitting water shortage and heavy rain spell

Association for Humanitarian Development is working in rural poor families of coastal areas of Sindh and helping farmers to get update on climate change and rain spells, but the irrigation water shortage hit large scale farmers to not planting rice crop and they become so worry about their food security

2ndly the rain spell shifted 45 days late as in the past monsoon starts at June to July and now rain starts in end of August to September. The recent rains hit in Karachi and rural areas with damaging rice harvested crops etc

AHD working on climate change and planting trees on large scale and hope with this project we can increase our efforts to save nature, climate change and livelihoods of rural people
