Dear Friend,

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say a huge "thank you" for all the support you gave Ukraine and Ukrainian children with cancer this year.

It means so much to us that children can rely on friends like you during their own battle. In these challenging times, having you by our side has been a huge relief.

You made it possible for more than 1000 families of children with cancer to continue their fight against the disease. And there are no words that could describe our gratitude.

Here is a video about people who remained a reliable shoulder for Ukrainian children with cancer. Please, watch it. This video is about you and your kind heart.

Thank you again for making us stronger in our fight for children’s health!

May this holiday season be warm and filled with cherished moments with your loved ones

Best wishes,

Tabletochki Charity Foundation

Dear Donor!

While a full-scale war against Russia lasts, there is one more fight against childhood cancer on an invisible front. And we are incredibly grateful that you remain reliable shoulder and strong support for children with cancer and their families. Thanks to your generous support, children with cancer remain in Ukraine and continue their fight against the disease in Ukrainian hospitals. Even if it is much more complicated than it was before February 24.

We have prepared the report for the second quarter. Here we describe what we, together with you, have done for children and the pediatric cancer treatment service in Ukraine.

Thank you for making us stronger in our fight for children’s health

Please, stay with the Ukrainian children

Dear Friend,

Looking back at 2021, we feel boundless gratitude for each achievement that became possible thanks to donors like you.

Last year more than 1000 families of children with cancer received the required assistance.

Kyrylo overcame the disease. Nazar celebrated a year since the unrelated bone marrow transplant. Sofia received unique medicines used in Ukraine for the first time.

On the 24th of February, the life of every Ukrainian changed forever. But families under the Foundation’s care and our team know better than anyone: winning in the war with cancer is possible. Winning in the war with Russia is possible as well.

And we will do everything to ensure that the war and those responsible for it cannot cross out past gains, current opportunities, or future victories.

For now, let's recall what all of us have already done on this path.
Please, read our report for 2021.

Today you can ensure even more victories in 2022. Create a regular subscription to help Ukrainian children.

Thank you for delivering help and hope to Ukrainian children even in the darkest times.

Dear friend,

Thank you for supporting Ukrainian medical specialists during the most challenging war period. Your help gives hope to doctors, nurses, their patients, the foundation team and all of Ukraine.

In the first quarter of the year, we were engaged in planning and organizing international internships. But many plans were destroyed by the war.

Internship at the Acibadem Maslak Hospital (Department of Pediatric Oncology) and Acibadem Altunizade Hospital (Department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation, Istanbul, Turkey

Ferneza Severyn, Oncologist of the Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Center trained with Turkey colleagues for two weeks.

Every day, Severyn was present at ward visits, outpatient clinics, and treatment strategies for each patient. It is crucial to gain a lot of experience before opening a BMT branch in Lviv. The experience of Turkish colleagues in the organization of the staff, the structure of the department, features of clinical work, mode and rules of the department - all this was beneficial for launching the effective work of our department.

English language courses

All classes were stopped on February 24. We are now starting to collect requests to learn English. We hope to continue our studies in May.

Leadership School for Nursing

In the first quarter of the year, our nurses, winners of the competition for a grant to improve the department's infrastructure, completed their projects. New equipment was purchased for the manipulation rooms of the neurosurgical departments in Lutsk and Dnipro. Patient lifting devices were purchased for the oncology department in Lutsk.

Because of your support, medical specialists continue their work and professional development for a happy, peaceful future for Ukraine. Thank you.

Internship at the Saint Anna Children's Hospital
Internship at the Saint Anna Children's Hospital

Dear friend, we share with you the new successes of the medical specialists. Doctors and nurses advance in their knowledge thanks to your support of the Educational Program for Oncological Specialists.

In the third quarter of the year, the new formats of the foreign countries were renewed (international workshops)

Internship at the Saint Anna Children's Hospital, Vienna, Austria

Head of the Department of Hematological and Cytomorphological Research of the Reference Laboratory of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" trained with Austrian colleagues for five days.

6th International Transplant Course

The annual conference organized by European Society of Transplantation blood and bone marrow covers an up-to-date overview of all current topics: bone marrow transplantation (BMT). Five doctors from Lviv and Kyiv took part in online conferences.

Visit of Dr. Jamal Khader from King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC Jordan)

In September, another strategically important visit for the development of pediatric oncology in Ukraine took place. As a result of the visit, National Cancer Institute and National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" are already working on a plan and topics for medical internships at KHCC in 2021-2022, as well as launching regular online discussions of complex patient cases and medical lectures.

Soft skills trainings for doctors and nurses

Personal coaching

In September, we launched a new format of training activities for department heads - personal coaching consultations from the international training agency "Develor".

High staff rotation, attracting the best experts to private medicine, the resistance of employees to change - common the difficulties faced by department heads.

We conducted three seminars for doctors and senior nurses on the topics: "Functional Management", "Medical Council: Teamwork technologies in the diagnostic process", "Emotional burnout and life coaching for doctors.

Translations and subscriptions

For the first time in the classroom, a simultaneous translation of Dr. Jamal's lecture from English into Ukrainian was conducted with the help of special equipment.

English language courses

In the third quarter of 2021 four groups successfully passed the exams and moved on to the next level and two groups continued their studies at the current level;

To achieve the maximum number of groups after the end of the semester, we analyze attendance and include

new students with the appropriate level of knowledge.

Thanks to supporters like you, medical specialists in Ukraine are getting better every day. Better for patients whose lives they save on a daily basis.

Thank you for this opportunity to save lives.
