We are thrilled to announce the reintegration of 16 children!
In January, our field officers successfully reintegrated 16 children from the recovery house back into their various communities. These children who were once victims of child trafficking, child domestic work, and other forms of abuse went through the rehabilitation process before their reintegration.
The children, made up of 8 boys and 8 girls were aged between 13 and 16. Each of them stayed at the recovery house for at least 6 months while they received a series of psychological counseling coupled with physical and medical examinations from our experienced staff at the center.
The cost of reintegration per child for a year is $1,012.00. This includes the provision of livelihood stipend support to the caregiver of the child as well as payment of the child’s school fees and medical expenses. We appreciate your support and hope you continue supporting our children in their journey of life, thank you!
