We are excited to announce the rescue of 23 more children over the weekend from the worst form of child labour!
The children rescued were made up of 17 boys and 6 girls, aged between 4 and 17 years. The children were rescued from 16 different communities along Lake Volta, with several of them exhibiting slavery-like conditions.
These children have been taken to our rehabilitation center. There, they will be taken through a series of medical, psychological, and physical examinations as part of the rehabilitation process. They will after going through these processes be taking formal education until it is time for them to be reintegrated.
We appreciate your continuous efforts and support in making this a reality! We could not have done this without you all, thank you!
