We are delighted to share that 38 women have successfully graduated from our 100-week Direct Cash Transfer Engagement Program.
These women, drawn from two communities have spent the past two years participating in a structured empowerment initiative designed to help them break free from poverty and build sustainable livelihoods. Throughout the program, participants received comprehensive training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, personal empowerment, sexual and reproductive health, and life skills.
These sessions equipped them with practical skills and strengthened their confidence to make informed decisions and pursue economic independence. We are incredibly proud of each graduate and remain confident that they will apply the skills gained to transform their lives and communities.
Thank you to you all for making this impact possible. Your commitment continues to empower women to shape brighter futures.

We are thrilled to announce that our rescue team rescued 38 new children from Lake Volta and White Volta in their recent two rescue operations!
The rescue was done in collaboration with the anti-human trafficking unit- headquarters, social welfare-Yeji, and Ghana police service-Yeji. The operation evolved around more than ten communities on both Lake Volta and White Volta.
During the first rescue which was in June, they rescued 26 children out of which twelve (12) of them were females and fourteen (14) of them were males aged between six (6) to seventeen (17) years. They have also rescued five (5) boys and seven (7) girls just this week. All of these children rescued were trafficked and taken through worse forms of child labor and abuse. Most of them had tooth decay, foot rot, swollen toes, scars from physical abuse, bilharzia, and malnourished.
Both operations were successful with some usual attacks on the team! We extend our profound appreciation to you all for your continuous donations and support in making this possible, thank you!

We are thrilled to announce the commencement of 19 graduates from the Halsted Women’s Center! Congratulations, ladies!
These graduates over the past two years gained valuable and marketable expertise in the field of fashion. They were extensively trained in fashion, design, and garment making. Today, we are proud to say we have graduated great fashion designers who will do well in the fashion industry. They will make their own income, employ and train others, and also help in our fight against child trafficking.
Our graduates gave a heartwarming speech as their token of appreciation for Challenging Heights' vocational opportunity and thanked everyone who helped them realize their dreams. All of us at Challenging Heights express our profound gratitude to you all who by dint of your unwavering support has made this dream a reality. Thank you!
