"Education for vulnerable youth in COLOMBIA"

Today we are living the most problematic moment in recent history, we have many children in vulnerable situations, single mothers, fathers unable to work or homeless people due to unemployment, are the ones who suffer the most. All of them represent the most vulnerable groups that use food support and hygiene kits that we are offering them at CORPORACION SUPERARSE. Thanks to donations from various people, 200 food packages have been distributed, the objective is to provide groceries and protection during the COVID-19 crisis for 100 more families, as support for the isolation that has been going on for more than 1 month and will continue for one more time.

For these families with children, with the elderly and sometimes with disabled people, it is more important than ever to take care of food and hygiene, which is essential in the fight against the transmission of the virus. Families living in poverty have no way to buy everything they need to protect their health.

To achieve this we are developing campaigns in our city, we have already had donations from people, companies and volunteers. We can continue helping these families, there are more than 800 vulnerable people that we have already helped.

I am Ricky (no real name), I am 16 years old, I have lived in the boarding school for 2 years because I do not have a father and my mother has no money to live with me, I am finishing my high school and I dream of being able to go to University and be a professional, I know that here in Colombia my future will be difficult if I fail to be a professional, just like me many young people without resources are left out of the education system, and they also remain unable to get a job for many years, which makes they are getting poorer.

With the help of many people like YOU, some of my friends from the boarding school of Superarse, have been able to study in private universities and are fulfilling their dream of working in a company, ensuring their future and that of their brothers or families.
