Quality education for kids of disadvantaged group

I am going to submit 3^rd Project report on Quality education for kids of disadvantaged group for the quarter ended on November 2018. By this time even with of regular activities of education for the kids of disadvantaged group we organized regular sports programme and introduced computer education for the learners. Annual examination is going on from 3^rd December 2018 in which students as stated below have taken part.

On the other hand due to shortage of accommodation last year we could not start Class V and was planning to start from this year but due to shortage of fund and as the donation collected from various sources was not up to the mark, this year also we had to drop the idea. Even then by this time we managed an amount of MPLAD Fund for construction of School building and hope the construction work will be started shortly after completion of the formalities and process of getting fund. By this time we are going to procure building materials spending the fund available with us so that the construction may be started by the end of December 2018.

In between we have completed the process of collecting learning materials and other items required for smooth running of the activities for coming academic year.

Now we are facing financial trouble and urge the kind hearted donors to stand by us so that we create congenial educational environment with:-

Furniture like bench, chair, table, Almirah

Sports equipment

Items for Children Park

Dress materials

Computer and accessories etc

I am going to submit the 2^nd Project report of “Amara Sabai” an organization working in extremely rural area called SUNDARBANS and feel little ashamed because no remarkable improvement is done during this period. However, we are working hard to achieve the target and submit the report for our beloved donors who trust us and donate for a noble cause.

Name of the project: - “Quality education for the kids of disadvantaged group”  

Location: - Kailaspur, South 24-Parganas, WB India (Popularly known as Sundarbans)

Brief History: - We are working with education programme since inception of our organization in the year 1970 with early childhood education, Non formal education, Adult education etc. Gradually in changing situation we concentrate to organize formal and quality education for the kids of disadvantaged group and started to create congenial educational environment pulling local resources. But due to paucity of fund we could not achieve the target set up for this purpose. However, in spite of many of the unachieved targets we create lots such as:-

1                     Procured Land for running School, Play ground, building, computer lab with sound system and audio visual apparatus, Sports equipments, Children park and so on.

2                     Created hygienic toilet and bathroom facilities for the student.

3                     Safe Drinking water supply

4                     Learning materials.

5                     Trained teachers and staff

Our requirement:-

1                     Additional building demolishing the old one which is irreparable, to accommodate the students and to create good and educational institution like environment.

2                     For physical well being of the students, the children park and play ground needed to be developed.

3                     Salary of the teacher and staff may be moderated to be increased.

4                     Number of Computer and other equipment needed to be increased.

5                     Bench, chair table and office furniture are required to be purchased for the students.

6                     Vehicle for transportation etc.

We need estimated 40000 dollar to complete the project work out of which an amount of 5271 dollar has been collected and we received Rs 277828/- in Indian currency till the date. The amount is set aside for the purpose of building construction which is the top most priority along with an amount of Rs 250000/- collected from other sources. Need more amounts to start with and expecting more fund from other sources too. Besides, due to rainy season, road condition is not according to goods carriage and construction work is not possible thus the work cannot be undertaken. Hope during October we can start the construction work and coming report may be reflected with the progress of work.

However the school is running with regular activities and first terminal exam has been completed and second is going to be started from 11^th September.  Sports programme, celebration of various red letter days, cultural activities etc. have been organized beyond the regular activities.

Our earnest appeal to the donor to stand by us with handful of resources, so that we may fulfill our dream of standing by those blooming flower those who cannot even dream or hope for their good future.
