This report is being prepared at the time when we again facing another natural calamity i.e. YASS like cyclone which pull down the river embankment encircling the villages of SUNDARBANS resulting submerse the habitat with salty water and paralised the normal life. This is happened just after one year of terrible Cyclone took place on 19^th May 2020. Besides, Covid 19 like pandemic stopped the normal business of running school as Government imposed restriction on normal activities of school declaring lockdown time and again.

As our activities run in a highly rural area without network availability and android phone with the guardians we could not organize online classes for the students. Therefore, we divided the students in eight groups to attend them in eight points near to their home and follow up their activities regularly. Regular task has been given and progresses are being followed.  Guardians are coming to take note, home task etc. No terminal evaluation is done due to lockdown declare by the administration.

During last report we described how ‘AMPHAN’ destroyed the school campus and ruined everything required to run a school with all facilities. In spite of tremendous financial hardship we renovated the buildings and accommodation to a great extent and work is still going on.

This is required to be mentioned specially that we are facing Covid19 and AMPHAN like pandemic and calamities followed by the second wave of Covid19 and YASS like cyclone thus in serious trouble now even though we are trying sincerely to overcome the problem for which time and resource is required.

Considering the fact welwishers and kind hearted donors are earnestly requested to stand by us to help the poor and disadvantaged kids of a highly remote area. 

We have nothing to submit with this report because Covid-19 stopped the regular activities and AMPHAN destroyed all most everything and ruined us in all respects. During submission of last report the picture of ruined infrastructure due to AMPHAN was uploaded. Besides, Covid-19 restricts us to open school. Thus our struggle with COVID and after effect of AMPHAN in addition to financial constraint is going on. However, we are trying hard to recover from the stringent situation we are facing. Report regarding school 1. Repair and renovation of School and Club building is in last stage. 2. No permission of opening school from administration is received. Thus two classes are organized in every alternative day following covid-19 protocol. 3. Home task for students is being given and follow up duly. 4. Teachers are coming everyday to meet the guardians and receive completed home task and after following up ne task is being given. 5. Strength of students came down to 150 from 250 as the regular school is not started. We hope it would be increased after the situation comes to normal. 6. Annual examination is conducted during December 2020. Out of 250, 150 turned up. Regarding accommodation:- 1. The school building was destroyed due to super cyclone AMPHAN. Now repair and renovation is almost done. But learning materials, sitting arrangement, computer and audio visual unit etc. are required to be procured for which we are facing financial constraint. 2. Tube well for drinking water is out of order and we are searching financial support to install tube well for safe drinking water to be ensured. 3. Play ground also is not up to the mark and trying hard to restore good condition As a whole we are trying hard to restore normal situation and congenial working atmosphere that’s why needs support in terms of kind or cash. Our appeal to international community to stand by us to help the children’s of a highly remote area that is SUNDARBANS.
