He struggled to communicate verbally and was subjected to bullying in his kindergarten class because others could not understand him.

At Jafra Community Center - Qudsaya, the teacher conducted an initial assessment of Ahmad’s language abilities, which revealed a clear weakness in pronunciation. During the early sessions, his mother remained with him, as he was unable to separate from her without distress.

Through a calm, structured, and gradual approach, the teacher helped Ahmad build trust and confidence. Within just one week, he was able to attend sessions independently. Over the first month, his pronunciation improved by 50%, his social communication skills developed, especially with peers; and he began overcoming his fears, even managing simple daily tasks such as bringing items to his mother.

As a result of this progress, Ahmad enrolled in first grade with increased confidence and independence. His mother shared: “Imagine being a mother whose son people couldn’t understand, feeling that sense of inadequacy… He was experiencing bullying in kindergarten. So the feeling of seeing this improvement is truly beautiful.”
