The Light that is Love

Dear Kind Donors,

Thank you all for the wonderful and generous help you have been giving to our School. How deeply grateful we are to you all. Through your kindness and care, we are able to keep our School open and running. We are able to save Children's Lives.

Although Cambodia is no longer in the news, but yet it has become a debtor state to China and under the current non-elected government, political opponents are imprisoned or assassinated, the latest case being a key opposition figure who living in exile, was gunned down in Bangkok, Thailand. A terrible system of debt-bondage is in place that is suffocating farmers.Inter-generational trauma after the Khmer Rouge genocide and the war, has led to the frequent abuse and abandonment of Children. Although the media's attention is turned towards the terrible crisis and hunger elsewhere in our world, but yet quietly out-of-sight there are Cambodian Children who die from maluntrution-related illness and from abuse.

I am writing a special letter today, because our world has never faced such darkness and such chaos since the beginning of World War Two.

Although many of us can do little, except to give a donation and support to those organizations attempting to provide food and medical care to those, especially Children, who are suffering so terribly in the midst of war and conflict, we can, in an "invisible" way, open our Hearts and allow Love to go around the world. Because it is Love, above all, that is so lacking in our world. If that Love and that Peace were in the Hearts of our leaders, so many of these apocalyptic situations would never have arisen.

For those who truly Love and have Loved notwithstanding great distances,  they will know that the power of Love is a Miracle. There are no boundaries. There is no distance. There is no Time. Because Love is Eternal.

Even as often I must be away from my dear Children and Staff at our School, I ask quietly within myself every day, for them to be Blessed, and, when we see each other on our video calls, I say to each one, "I send the Love from my Heart and I blow it across to you, that you are Blessed and that every Angel take care of you and keep you well.." Then my Children can also feel the power of that Love and they are happy.. It doesn't matter what religion, or none. We are all One.

As we encounter darkness everywhere, conflict and even hatred at the micro-level, we can understand that it is this is then that is driving the chaos in our world on a larger scale. Many whom I meet are sucked in by these things or are in despair. That is when we must  above all stand up with Courage and look to the Light and Embrace it. To make that effort to look at the hidden simple Beauty in the small and humble things and actively seek to create all that is truly Good and truly Harmonious. Even if it is but tending some thirsty plants, smiling at a stranger and yet always having faith that Love and Kindness does go round the world, even though we cannot "see" it and that it does Conquer the darkness.

So Thank You All so very much for embracing our School. For believing in us and for embracing that Light and that Joy that emanates from us and for embracing that Healing Journey of Music and of Dance for those who have been so wounded, that they might walk again with happiness and dignity.

Thank You!
