Provide Education Opportunity for Fifteen Children

New Year Greetings to all our donors, friends and well-wishers. I hope you had an eventful festive season and are looking forward to the best of 2026.

I am happy to report that we had a peaceful festive season and are now beginning to navigate the New Year. The children are on school holidays, safe and in good health. We at NAF are express our gratitude for the continued support. We hope that you can continue supporting this project because the needs of the project remain ongoing. What we have always tried to do is manage the situation with the available little resources, and what is even more fulfilling is that the older children who were beneficiaries of this project have started to chip in. Ezra and Ponsiano for example took care of our Christmas meals. Thanks to them.

As the new school term approaches on 2nd February, our focus has now shifted fully toward preparing the children for a successful return to school. Key priorities include the payment of school fees, procurement of scholastic materials such as books, pens, uniforms, and other essential school supplies. These items are critical to ensuring that the children return to school with dignity, confidence, and the ability to fully participate in learning.

This project continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children. With sustained support, we are confident that the children will remain in school, stay motivated, and continue progressing toward a brighter future. We remain committed to prudent use of resources and to keeping you informed of progress as the new term in the New Year begins.

I am pleased to report that the children under our care successfully completed the first school term of the year in a peaceful and supportive environment. Schools closed for the holiday and the children are now at home and will resume for the second term on 16th August 2025. We remain encouraged by their resilience, commitment to learning, and the hope they carry for a brighter future despite the challenges they face.

However, sustaining this progress continues to be a struggle. Meeting the costs of school fees, scholastic materials, meals, and basic home needs stretches our limited resources. We therefore call upon our friends, donors, and well-wishers for assistance of any kind to ensure continuity in supporting these vulnerable children. It is vital that together we keep their academic dreams alive, secure their well-being, and empower them to rise above the circumstances that threaten their future.

These children’s future is in our hands. And I am optimistic that together we can positively continue to shape their future.
