In the past three months, your generous support has contributed to daily nutrition at Busiliwa Junior School in Bududa and Agaria's newly established primary school. That’s a total of over 15,000 meals per term. Without your support, many children would eat less than once a day.
You also contributed to medical needs, five secondary school bursaries for girls, and five educational bursaries at Mbale School of Nursing, University, and Technical College. Your donations have maintained the health and education of children and young people as we work with the community of Agaria to raise funds to complete a permanent primary school and move children to purpose-built classrooms.
The goal of establishing the community's first school is almost reached thanks to recent construction grants and the commitment of the village to make thousands of eco-bricks from murram soil. The community has also benefitted from a grant to purchase a haulage Tuk-Tuk that will help parents transport rice to markets, increasing household income.
Thank you for your commitment and continuing support.
