Educate, protect and nurture 500 young Ugandans

Your continued support has resulted in the completion of the first four classrooms of Agaria's new primary school and the graduation of two students from University. You are also continuing to support the training of four nurses, a nursery teacher, and a mechanic.

You also contributed to providing over 15,000 primary school meals per term. Without you, many children would eat less than once a day. 

Because of the progress your donations have brought about, the team in Agaria received an award from the Iteso Cultural Union. This 'passport document' means that our work to empower and educate young people will receive increased statutory cooperation.

In the next financial year we are launching two youth-led events management social enterprises to provide training and generate income for 50 young people.

Your continued support has resulted in the graduation of three students who will return to their home communities qualified in teaching, public administration, and social work. You are also supporting four nurses in training and a nursery teacher.

In Uganda, most graduates fail to find employment after completing their studies, but our bursary programme allows young professionals to work with us and our partners, putting their skills to use and receiving ongoing support. Their impact on communities is long-lasting and they are the leaders of the future.
