I hope this report finds you well.
This project is designed to facilitate the education of underprivileged children and includes the provision of school uniforms and shoes, meals and care to vulnerable and at-risk children living in the poverty and squalor of Informal Settlements in Johannesburg.
Thanks to your kind donations, we have over the past year been able to present new school shoes to 110 boys and girls from Zandspruit Primary School. The school is located within the informal settlement which is comprised mainly of tin structures otherwise referred to locally as shacks. We certainly would not have been able to do this without your support.
We have as well extended our involvement to support the children of the Jerusalem Informal settlement located in Florida, Roodepoort. We have started by using sports specifically soccer to gain access to the community and bring the young people together. In line with this we have set up a soccer club Hamberg United named after the locality we are based in. We are putting plans in place to provide extra tuition to these young boys and girls to raise their school performance from the primary through to high school levels. This children and young people in this program have grown in number to over fifty. The program will require much more resources which we believe can be raised from multiple sources including a sponsored half-marathon event in September 2026. We envision that this fundraising initiative will help expand our impact as we cater to the needs of the school going children.
We will keep you informed of our progress and as usual look forward to your continued support for which we are ever so grateful.

Thanks to your kind donations, we are happy to have in the past 6 months presented pairs of shoes to a total of 110 boys and girls from Zandspruit Primary School located within the informal settlement. We certainly would not have been able to do this without your support.
In the next quarter, we will be extending our involvement to the children of the Jerusalem Informal settlement located in Florida, Roodepoort. This additional program will require much more resources which we believe can be raised from multiple sources including a sponsored half-marathon event in 6 months’ time. We plan that this fundraising initiative will coincide with the beginning of the new school year in 2026 and will therefore expand our impact as we cater to the needs of the school going children.
We will keep you informed of our plans and as usual hope for your continued support for which we are ever so grateful.
Thank you

This settlement is composed mainly of tin structures otherwise known as shacks.
Thanks to your kind donations, in the previous quarter we had the immense privilege of presenting a pair of shoes each to 60 boys and girls from Zandspruit Primary School located within the informal settlement. A new pair of shoes was such a welcome gift to the 60 children whose feet would otherwise be in worn out shoes if any at all.
We would have wished to reach many more children with these donations as a new term has just started and the demand for new shoes is even higher. However, we are still receiving donations and hope to place an order of up to100 pairs which we hope to donate later in the next school term. This is all possible because kind donors like you give to facilitate an elementary education for the less privileged children of Zandspruit. As a wise person speaking to school children once said, “You have brains in your head and feet in your shoes, you can steer yourself in any direction you choose.” As donors, you are not just providing necessities such as school shoes for these children but in a seemingly hopeless situation, you are giving them hope for a much brighter future.
We remain always deeply grateful for your support!
