I hope this report finds you well.
This project is designed to facilitate the education of underprivileged children and includes the provision of school uniforms and shoes, meals and care to vulnerable and at-risk children living in the poverty and squalor of Informal Settlements in Johannesburg.
We have extended our involvement to support the children of the Jerusalema Informal settlement located in Florida, Roodepoort. This informal settlement is comprised mainly of tin structures otherwise referred to locally as shacks. We are using sports, specifically soccer to gain access to the community and bring the young people together. We are putting plans in place to provide extra tuition in the next school academic year to these young boys and girls so as to raise their school performance from the primary through to high school levels. This children and youth in this program have grown in number to over fifty. The program will require much more support and resources which we cannot access without your generous giving.
Every gift from you, every dollar puts smile on these young peoples’ lives by providing something that they really need. Over the past quarter, your giving has provided soccer boots and warm winter clothing to more than 20 children.
We will keep you informed of our progress and as usual look forward to your continued support for which we are ever so grateful.
Thank you
