New year update on school

By James Oyugi | Director

Dear friends,

The James Were Foundation extend heartfelt gratitude to all friends and supporters especially through GlobalGiving for your unwavering  committment to transforming lives. As we usher in a new year, we wish you joy, health, and prosperity in the year 2025.

The schools in Kenya reopened on 7th January and we are thrilled to announce are supported by the foundation succesfully reported back to school. Your generousity continues to make a significant impact and difference in their lives, enabling them to pursue education and break the cycle of poverty.

Notably, two of our students who sat for their national exams achived remarkable results, each scoring A minus. This outstanding performance guarantees them direct entry to the university, a milestone that underscores the transformative impact of your support.

Thank you for standing with us in empowering the youth of Nyalenda Slums. Together, we are shaping a brighter future.

Happy New Year!
