Dear supporters, The James Were Foundation continues to make significant strides in empowering education within Nyalenda slums within Kisumu through its scholarship program.This quarter, The Foundation has succesfully supported 65 bright and needy students a cross various schools within the community.
Among the beneficiaries ,grade 12 students are preparing to sit their KCSE examinations, making an important milestone in tbeir academic journey. The fkundation has provided them with essential support including examination materials,mentorship program and motivation talks to boost their cinfidencr and pervormance apart from payiing tbeir school fee.
Similarly, grade 9 students are also gearing up for their KPSEA exams, and tge Foundation has ensured they receive acedemic guidance and emotional support in readiness fir this national assessment.
As schools prepare to c,ose in November 2025;Thd Fioundation remains committed to ensuring educational continuity. Plans are underway to sponsor more students to high school next year with a focus on those who e cel in their upcoming national exams. The fkundation is actively mobilizing resources and partnering with well wishers to expand the reach of this impactful program.
through these ongoing efforts,tge James Were Foundation reaffirms its mission to transform lives through education and to offer every child in Nyalenda a fair chance of a brighter future.
