They learned how time and place can make a story feel alive, how characters become more real when they carry hopes and flaws, and how dialogue can reveal what a character feels but may not say directly. They also reflected on the importance of planning, research, and meaning, so that a script becomes more than a sequence of events. It becomes a message.
