Children do not grow up dreaming of simply following instructions for the rest of their lives. They dream of creating something of their own—to invent, design, discover, and one day turn their ideas into something real.
Often, those dreams begin with someone who believes in them. Someone who encourages a child when they struggle, gives them opportunities to learn and experiment, and simply says: You are capable, and your dream is worth pursuing.
For many orphaned children in Syria, however, that support may disappear far too early, while the challenges of daily life become greater than their childhood dreams. Fields such as programming, engineering, or entrepreneurship can begin to feel far beyond their reach.
Thanks to your support, we are working to change that.
At Masarat, we do not want orphaned students to simply receive knowledge. We want them to learn how to use it to create something of their own.
Their journey therefore extends from school education, which builds a strong foundation of knowledge, to student activities that help them discover their interests and abilities, academic guidance that helps them choose their path, and vocational training that transforms learning into practical skills and future opportunities—all alongside psychosocial support that strengthens their confidence in themselves.
An orphaned child deserves more than the opportunity to catch up with others. They also deserve the chance to innovate, lead, and create opportunities of their own.
Perhaps one of the students you support today is carrying an idea that could one day become a project, an innovation, or a solution to a challenge in their community.
