Light of Life Trust (LOLT) initiated Project Anando in 2005. Enlisted by GlobalGiving.org in November 2013 LOLT has been regularly receiving donations from generous donors believing in our cause and joining hands with us towards our efforts at meeting our vision. The new academic year 2014 -15 commenced in the last week of June 2014 and in order to ensure that lack of education material does not become a cause for beneficiaries to drop out of school, every new academic year LOLT provides each beneficiary with education material comprising of a set of text books, notebooks, compass box, school bag and uniform. This distribution is undertaken through a programme planned and conducted at each centre level in the presence of the beneficiaries, their parents, their school principals, teachers. Parents and beneficiaries are sensitized to the objectives behind the provision of education material and their responsibilities are clearly spelt out in order to ensure that the said material is optimally used by the beneficiaries. In this year the Education Material Distribution Programme was organized in all the Centres in Jalna district in the month of July 2014 as per the schedule below:
At the Education material Districution Programme the LOLT team emphasized on the main objectives behind the Anando programme and the expectation from parents in the development of the beneficiaries.
