In March, Six years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake struck and two years since Long Beach House was set up. Many people come and visit Ishinomaki around this month every year. We got about 20 young people together from Tokyo to let them see and reaffirm the current situation in Ishinomaki.
In April, We welcomed 2 volunteer staffs to get help with our store. Wecultivated the field for an agricultural experience which we have planned to offer as a new project this year.
In May, We opened our shop in the local Spanish festival called “Sun Fan festival”. We served our main menu Paella, Sangria and so on at the venue with Spanish ships. We felt so happy to see many people especially local people enjoy our meal there.
Your donations will be used for the various kinds of programs and events. I would appreciate your continued support.
